A4 Web Design Products.
I bought the A4 package of web development goodies for a whopping $285. It was relatively simple to create basic sites. The compliments and any other superlatives end right there, plain and simple. A4's web site and navigation system is horrendous! It is one of the most difficult web sites to navigate I have ever seen. They are very good at making a person run around in circles if they make an attempt to utilize the product. Be prepared to spend unnecessary time trying to find what you are looking for on their web site. Additionally, registering all the separate templates with them is a nightmarish PIA.
They provide a lot of "flash" up front to entice you into purchasing from them. However, I felt their business plan to be very deceptive. They make you think you are getting more than what you really do get from them. Come to find out, you only get part of what is needed to create anything more than a simple layout. They ARE very quick to offer additional chapters of the deceptive book, for additional money, of course.
I was informed that for my $285, I was only entitled to a basic basic basic form of menu builder that only included a couple of horizontal menus. They are happy to add to your inventory for more money. Just like they are more than happy to put something together for you, of course, for more money.
While there are some good things about the A4 programs, I think it is one giant rip off! I would compare it to purchasing a car, only to find out wheels, a steering wheel, and a windshield are options. I am convinced that everyone would be much happier if they were to purchase WebPLUSX4 for less than $90. It is easy to use and there are nowhere near the limitations that come with A4 Flash products. That's the product I wound up buying after dumping A4. Pros: It is relatively easy to use the actual program
Cons: The program is incomplete without spending extra money for add-ons
Editing individual web pages is very limited
Additional money is required to have a functioning site
Or you get them to generate the pages for you... again, for more money.
